Sales and Marketing Assistant

We’re looking for a strong, confident, capable person to assist with sales, marketing, and daily workings of our President/CEO’s personal life as well as her business life during this exciting time of growth and beyond! This is a brand-new position added due to growth.  You’ll work in a fun, upbeat environment where we work hard and celebrate our successes! Is this you?

  • You will know what our President needs before she even knows because you’re supportive and intuitive like that.

  • You have excellent communication skills – verbal and written – and you aren’t afraid to use them.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage the calendar for our President/CEO both personal and professional scheduling.
  • Manage and executive our marketing calendar, activities, and resources
  • Assist with sales activities including research,
  • Brainstorm sales and marketing ideas with CEO and team
  • Manage the President/CEO’s home (scheduling repairs, shopping, etc.)
  • Plan for and remind the CEO of upcoming deadlines (in other words, making sure she’s where she needs to be, doing what she needs to be doing at all times)
  • Communicate with vendors, partners, affiliates, and team members
  • Schedule birthdays, reviews, holiday gifts and employee recognition
  • Communicate and make decisions on behalf of CEO
  • Bonus points if you can edit photos and videos and understand online/digital marketing
The Average Day Is…
Well, there are none.
One day might involve you scheduling meetings for our President/CEO and managing events and marketing activities and the next day you might be checking the mail, waiting for a repairman to show up, taking the car in for service or helping her to wrangle the moving pieces and parts of her businesses.
One thing is for sure, you will never be bored.
 
 
Must Have’s Include (in addition to the above):
  • 2-5 years’ experience creating, planning, and executing marketing projects
  • Comfort in working in various marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Content Management Systems (CMS), Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop for basic editing of materials (copy changes, photo sizing) or the ability to quickly learn
  • Event planning experience
  • Polish and professionalism
  • At least 2 years in an assistant/support role
